FIRST Robotics Competition

We are officially registered in the "FIRST Robotics Competition" to be held from 7 to 9 March 2013 in Oshawa Canada.

Kick-off Season 2013 of FIRST Robotics Competition

On January 5, 2013 marked the kick-off of the 2013 FIRST on campus ITESM Toluca. That day was handed robot kit and the challenge of the 2013 season.

Challenge of FIRST Robotics Competition 2013

The challenge is to throw frisbee type discs, the robot has to take the floor, the size of the field is similar to indoor soccer, team placed three against three, the robot has to throw the disc into a kind of holes on the wall, the robot that launches higher and earn more points guess right.
Competitors have to design everything from how to collect a soil frisbee with a robot, how to aim, throw accurately, and finally levels should be hung in a tower that is in the center of the court.
According to the complexity and efficiency of the robot can achieve better results.
The robot has a limit of 60 kilos though, is a list of materials that can be used limit, as the fact that you can use up to four motors to move the robot, all use the same type of controller, the program that put a the computer will be different according to your design and budget limit is two thousand 500 dollars, so that it does not have much money a team has the best robot.
